Belle Arbor

There are often trees that I see that elicit some fairly deep writing. They each have a life and a story of their own, the beauty of a tree is that you can read it's story in it's limbs, trunk and leaves. (This post will be updated as I discover new trees to personify.)

Don't fight life's unexpected turns, you never know what beauty may arise from them...

We always lean toward certain ways of life... Don't be afraid to branch out in an opposite direction. Even if it doesn't work out, the depth and beauty you acquire in doing so will always be worthwhile.

Beauty is not limited to the living. Often in death, the flaws are forgotten and the beauty deepens as we accept the entirety of what was, what no longer is, and what will always be. All that is remembered is how high you reached toward your dreams, how proudly and solidly you stood - for yourself or others. So dream big and stand tall, for what you leave behind may be the shelter another needs. A refuge they can take courage from, so they too can dream big and stand tall.

She twists and turns, thrashing and flailing against the unknowns. She cries out in anguish as the pain courses through her body. She desperately seeks a source of light as the unknown threatens to suck her into the tumultuous depths of her own dark emotion. Each time she turns away from the dark and the terror, she let's herself reach for the light and joy. She blooms just a little more, and as she flourishes she begins to support herself, until finally she trusts herself. She trusts that she can hold herself up. All she needs is a little grounding and to allow the light to shine into her life.

When those around you are battered and bruised and the same force tries to bring you down too. Try, try again! For there is nothing to be gained from conceding defeat.

What we present to this world is what people see, yet every single one of us has a support system that isn't visible. Our friends and family, our secret joys and passions, our fears and hopes. What we show to the world isn't possible without these intricacies; the things beneath out polished exterior that make us who we are. So be true to those parts of you that have let you grow into who you are today.
